"I know nobody knows ..."

Very few songs have the power to calm down completely. Among them are those of Aerosmith, which I listen to when I can remember, and Muse, discovered recently thanks to a wonderful man who unfortunately, due to various commitments, lately I feel little. _;

One of the songs I listen to whenever I need to relax or to be reassured is part of Aerosmith's first album, released in '72. Finally, "Honkin 'on Bobo," was not much to my liking ... It will be me and the blues do not go particularly agree, although some songs I love them. It's not that I do not like, simply prefer other genres, and since the Tyleriana discography is vast, this album does not fall within my circle of favorites. ^___-

but talking about the first song of the album. The above is "Dream on" , written by a twenty year old Steven Tyler.
explain what I feel when I listen to is really impossible, not just me after all of this lj to express what that give me this man's songs: lyrics, music, his unique way of singing.
"Dream On" speaks for itself.

Every Time That I look in the mirror
All These lines on my face gettin 'clearer The past is gone

It Went by like dusk to dawn Is not That The Way

Everybody's Got Their dues in life to pay ?

Yeah I know nobody knows Where it comes and
WHERE it goes
I know it’s everybody’s sin
You got to lose to know how to win

Half my life’s in books written pages
Live and learn from fools and from sages
You know it’s true
All the things come back to you

Sing with me, sing for the years
Sing for the laughters and sing for the tears
Sing with me, if it’s just today
Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away
(x2)

Dream on, dream on, dream on
Dream yourself a dream come true
Dream on, dream on, dream on,
Dream until your dream comes true
Dream on (x7)

Sing with me, sing for the years
Sing for the laughters and sing for the tears Sing with me
, if it's just
today Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away (x2)

(Dream On, Aerosmith 1972)
